Many of our attendees do come needing that special “uplifting” to continue in their careers. Theirs is not an easy life….taking care of patients who have debilitating illnesses; heart-wrenching diseases, or possibly terminal cases. And, now, many of our military case managers also see our returning soldiers with not only major physical problems (amputations, burns, physical impairment, etc.) but mental repercussions, as well.
It is extremely difficult for healthcare individuals to always stay on the “positive” side of life when they are enveloped daily with caring for patients who demand much of their energy and time.…but know they must keep that “positive” attitude---as one lady said: “To turn others into “igniters!”
Amanda gave this attendee (and many others I’m sure)….exactly what she needed: Her Pilot Light Has Been Lit … once again !
